HISTORY

Craino Sacral therapy was developed by Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon Dr. John Upledger due to his research and clinical work and the crainosacral rhythm has led to the development of the Craino Sacral Therapy system.  It is a subtle and profound form of healing that is deeply relaxing which encourages the body’s natural healing processes. This increases physical vitality and wellbeing. It is effective in achieving structural changes in the musculoskeletal system the back, neck knees, and joints, yet it has a wider application in that it works with many levels of disease and pain. The name is derived from the system’s and associated bones. Included are those of the skull, face and mouth which make up the cranium, also the spinal column which extends down to the sacrum.

Craino Sacral is well respected for its relief in back and neck pain, sport injuries,it is also highly effective in the treatment of such complaints as colic, sleeplessness in infants and young children, behavioural problems ADD, ADHD. phobias and fears.
